The Local Church
Milton Keynes Seventh-day
Adventist Church is an inclusive church with worshippers drawn from a rich
and diverse number of cultures. The seeds for the current church was
planted over 30 years by the pioneers, led by Elder Felix Thomas. We worship on the Sabbath (Saturday)
at our Veryan Place sanctuary in the Fishermead district of the
city. Our services cover teaching, (Sabbath School) at 9.30 am,
Praise & Worship at 11:15 am, and a Youth Service at 4 pm.
On Sunday’s there are a variety of Youth activities in operation and these
include MK Kids Club which offers a variety of physical and artistic
activities and other practical life skills. For those in need of extra
educational instruction, the Raising Achievement Club provides vital
support and is staffed by teaching professionals and other qualified
instructors.
The church operates an annual radio broadcast through
its station Adventist Radio Milton Keynes (ARMK) which will be on air from
April 2nd to 29th, 2006. ARMK has been instrumental in spreading the Gospel to the
local community. We also assist those in need through our Emergency
Food Parcel Service which provides a balanced package of food supplies for
the most vulnerable. Whichever way you interact with the church our
overriding aim is for you “To Know Christ” and we do this best by
reflecting the Love, Mercy, and Grace that we have received from
Christ.
