The Treasurer and the team of Associate Treasurers is the custodian of all church funds including tithes, offerings, and special donations. The team is responsible for the supervision of the collection, counting, receipting, and banking of the funds and for making the necessary returns to the local Conference.

The Treasurer advises at local monthly board meetings and quarterly business meetings where the church’s plans and activities are reviewed and assessed for approval. We also support various fund raising activities throughout the year.

The Treasury promotes the Gift Aid plan to the members as a more efficient method of returning tithes and offerings. When funds are given to the church in this method, we receive an extra 28% in rebates from the Inland Revenue and this is a vital income stream which enables the church to carry out various local initiatives.
