Deaconesses are concerned with the material needs of the congregation, including the comfort of worshippers, ministry to the sick and shut-in, as well as specific duties during the Communion and Baptism services. Your first experience of the Deaconess team is on arrival at our church in Fishermead. Working in partnership with the Deacons, you will be greeted at the door and made aware of our facilities.

If you are a first-time visitor, we will encourage you to sign our visitor registration card so you can look forward to receiving a gift. Finally, we will assist you in finding a seat and, if you are parent with child, we will be happy to provide temporary relief in helping to settle your child. We hope you stay with us will be memorable for all the right reasons and look forward to being of service to you.
